The Committee on Transport and Transit policy supervises development of transport complex of St. Petersburg. Its activity is directed to increase freight traffic and passenger traffic into the transport complex of St. Petersburg, to maximize the city role as an international transport and transit center, to increase volume of transport services in export-import operations and to improve environment for state and private investments in St.Petersburg transport infrastructure development.
