Staff changes in Smolny
On traditional Tuesday meeting of the Government Valentina Matvienko has announced some staff changes in the executive branch of the city.
Firstly, it was finally announced that Michael Oseyevsky will become the successor of Alexander Vahmistrov. Now he heads the governor's staff as a vice-governor.
Igor Metelsky has become the Deputy of Matvienko. He will manage the city property, the Committee on Land Resources of St. Petersburg and the Committee on State Control, Use and Protection of Monuments.
In addition, the Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affaires, Alexander Prohorenko, has entered the Government. Dmitry Kurakin now is a Head of the Committee on City Property Management.
The structure of the Committee on Road Maintenance was also changed. It was divided into two committees: the Committee on Transport Infrastructure Development (the Head – Boris Murashov) and the Committee on improvement (the Head is Andrey Podobed) (RIA Novosti).
The Governor has also announced that vice-governor Yury Molchanov would manage all departments of transport unit: the Committee on Transport, the Committee on transport-transit policy, the Committee on Transport Infrastructure, the Committee on Investments and Strategic Projects.
Also, two districts of St. Petersburg have received new leadership. Kirov region was headed by Alexey Kondrashov, who previously worked as the first deputy chief of the Nevsky district.
And in Kolpino area Dmitry Kobizky will start work. Previously he was the deputy head of the Committee for Economic Development, Industrial Policy and Trade. His predecessor, Dmitry Rumyantsev moved to the Finance Committee for the post of deputy chairman of the committee.
