4-10 July – European Championship by sailing «ORC Sportboat» in St. Petersburg

Racing camp and competitions will be located in the yacht port “Hercules” in the North-West of St.Petersburg (St. Petersburg, Lahta, Beregovaya street, 19).

This yacht club has a completely new infrastructure and meets all the requirements of competition: parking and maintenance of ships, technical condition and equipment of ground objects.

For the dates from 4 till 10 pf July in calendar of the European Championship 9 races are scheduled, including 2 in the waters of the Marquis Pool.

Prizes will get yachts on the top 3 places, as well as a yacht - the winner in the so-called Corinthian division – all crew members belong to group 1 according ASAF classification.

The organizer of the European Championship 2010 in class «ORC Sportboat» is St. Petersburg Sailing Union together with the Russian Naval Sailing Association supported by All-Russian Federation of Yachting.

July 4 - 18.00 - Opening Ceremony

July 5 - a short race (race)

July 6 - a short race (race)

July 7 - the first route race

July 8 - the second route race

July 9 - a short race (race)

July 10 - 18.00 - a short race, closing ceremony

For accredited journalists there will be provided boats for making reports from water. We kindly ask to agree time for boats in advance.
