The Chairman of the Committee N.A. Asaul with official delegation of the Government of St.Petersburg has visited London on transport complex development in the United Kingdom

During the visit of the official delegation of the Government of St. Petersburg in London there were held meetings at the Ministry of Transport of the UK.

In the framework of the visit the delegation has met with the department responsible for all modes of public transport in London. The jurisdiction of this Department is also 580 km of road network in London, all 4600 London traffic lights, taxi services and private carriers. The participants of the delegation have visited the control center of ground transportation in London, this center includes Con troll Center of bus traffic, the Center of road traffic and the Center of road traffic of Police. One day of the visit the delegation of the Government of St. Petersburg has spent at the Buckingham Palace at the round table with representatives of the administration of London and the road transport sector of Great Britain, organized with the support of His Royal Highness the Duke of York.

During the visit, the Chairman of the Committee on transport-transit policy N.A. Asaul has learned about water transport development on London.
