Meeting with Deputy Minister of Transport on proposals of improvement traffic in major cities of Russia for the meeting with the President of Russia

August 24, 2010 Deputy Chairman of the Committee on transport-transit policy of the Government of St. Petersburg took part in a meeting in the Ministry of Transport of Russia on preparation of proposals for meeting with the President of Russia to improve traffic management and ensure smooth movement of vehicles on roads in major cities of Russia.

The meeting was attended by: A.L. Sadikov, Deputy Head of the Department of Social Policy Expert of the Office of the President of Russia, Plutnik A.A., Associate of the first Deputy Prime Minister I.I. Shuvalov, as well as representatives of the Russian Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, the Moscow City Government and the Moscow region, Rosavtodor etc.

During the meeting, it was ordered to submit proposals to improve organization of road transport in major Russian cities. A.V.Lvov has presented a report for the meeting with the President D.A.Medvedev, on improvement of traffic and traffic management in major cities of Russia “On organization of freight traffic in St.Petersburg: objectives and solutions”.
