St. Petersburg State External Transport Agency


In St. Petersburg, according to the decision of the Government of St. Petersburg from 19.05.2010 ¹ 623 by the Committee on transport-transit policy there was established St. Petersburg State External Transport Agency.

The activities of the Agency:

  • Organization of trucks traffic;
  • Establishment, deployment and improvement of infrastructure services on freight transport on the territory of St Petersburg, including the specialized sites for storage of the detained vehicles;
  • Move the detained trucks to specialized parking;
  • Ensure the safety of detained vehicles placed on the Agency-owned parking lots;
  • Enforcement of measures aimed at limiting entry and parking at the road network of St. Petersburg on freight transport;
  • Development, implementation and management of the dispatching system of trucks flow in St. Petersburg;
  • Reduction of railways impact for road network and improvement of road capacity, dismantling railway crossings in the territory of St. Petersburg;
  • Development and organization of operation of civil aviation airports;
  • Development in St. Petersburg of business aviation, including promoting the creation of an infrastructure helicopter traffic;
  • Support investors in implementing investment projects involving Russian and foreign organizations in the development of external transport of St. Petersburg;
  • Provide services in logistics and terminal and warehouse operations;
  • Design and construction of international and intercity bus terminals;
  • Develop and strengthen transport links between St. Petersburg and other Russian regions and foreign countries through the development of high-speed highways;
  • Arrange parking areas and points of settling for foreign non-profit recreational and sports vessels and provide their services on the territory of St. Petersburg.
